Jay Stevens is a broadcast innovator who has produced groundbreaking content across the media landscape contributing over 35 years of experience in broadcast radio, audio streaming and podcasting for some of the biggest multimedia companies.He was instrumental in crafting the digital broadcast strategy for Urban One that launched streaming audio platforms, websites, and the social media presence that delivered an average of 3 million unique visitors a month. With an innovation-first mentality, Jay helped to infuse an integrated media approach across all business units at Urban One.

Innovative, successful new formats and initiatives created by Jay include Rhythm/Crossover, Boom/Classic Hip Hop, Old School R&B, Radio Now Pop, WMMJ Real Sound Of The DMV, the original 18 Jams in A Row format on WPGC and the Stop The Violence campaign in Washington, DC which was used effectively in other cities around the country.

SVP of Programming at Urban One (formerly Radio One) and Reach Media. Oversight of programming for 54 radio stations in 15 markets as well as 11 syndicated national radio shows including Russ Parr, DL Hughley, Erica Campbell, and Rickey Smiley, reaching over 22 million African-Americans weekly. Tremendous ratings and digital traffic increases between 2007 to 2017, led to Urban One (Radio One) revenues increasing from $316 million to $440 million.
